Holiday Gift Guide + Shop Small Saturday Discount!

Last year I searched high and low to find small shops I could support while doing my Christmas shopping. Now that I'm more in the handmade/small business world, I know of several shops I'd love to support, and I wanted to share those with you! I have really grown to love and admire these shop owners in business and in how they seek to serve others, and have enjoyed following them online throughout the year. Some of my favorites are listed below, and I hope you will enjoy learning about new business women, who are doing amazing things with their wares. It's so fun to shop small and support other hard working women while blesses our family and friends this Christmas!

Jewelry:

Dear Mushka: DM's mission is to tell THE story with beauty. She makes beautiful and simple jewelry. I can't wait to get my circle tags with the kiddos initials!

Personal + Spiritual Growth:

Val Marie Paper: I've used her prayer journals for a year now and they have helped shape my prayer life so much. Not only that, but they have helped me to see God's hand and answers to prayers and his incredible timing, where I probably wouldn't have noticed it before. I also just started her book, The Finishing School and it is so good!

Life Lived Beautifully Shop: I just recently started reading this girls blog and it is so saturated with a love for God. She makes great journals and Bible studies that help you dig deep into the Bible and connect with God.

Lara Casey: Oh my goodness, I love this woman. I met her once and we giggled breifly in the buffet line at lunch (!!!) Haha. I used her PowerSheets for goal setting in 2015, and will be using them again this year! She has prints, goal setting worksheets, journals for your time with God, clothing, and more - all to help you focus on what matters most.

Prints:

Anna Tovar: THE most gorgeous hand painting and calligraphy, probably ever. This girl goes to my church and her art is such a reflection of her heart for the Lord! I've had my eye on her Denton, TX print for a while and am hoping to snag it this Christmas :)

Make up:

Simplicity Cosmetics: Seriously my go-to for all natural make up! I love her eye shadows, face powder and blush! It gives great coverage and wears for a long time, and no icky ingredients! She's a local Texas gal as well ;)

Hand-sewn Goods:

Maggie Whitley: I just love following Maggie online, she shares such inspirational thoughts on motherhood and being a handmade business owner. Her shop sells handmade pouches and bags.

Oh Simple Joys: Celebrating the simple joys in life, Rachel makes book letters, cute crocheted items, and is an incredible designer as well!

Ethically-made Clothing:

Garment Collective: Definitely keep an eye out on this shop, as their new collection is coming out soon. They have an incredible story, and help women in Nepal find jobs by making their garments.

Wildly Co. I love this brand because it's just for kids, and minimalist in style and products. Make your kids capsule wardrobe!

Stationary:

The Loving Kind: My friend Mattye has the cutest hand illustrated cards and stationary in her shop, dedicated to loving the people in your life well.

Misc:

Dime Handmade: For any local Denton, Texas friends, you need to stop into this shop. It's full of incredible products from local artists and makers, from beauty products, to candles, clothing and home decor!

And in case you missed the announcement on Instagram, we are having a sale this weekend! It'll be our last sale of the year (actually for a while) so make sure to take advantage!
